Mitt Romney’s standing as the presumed frontrunner may be getting a serious challenge these days, but his status as the top fundraiser in Florida has never been more secure.
According to the most recent campaign finance disclosure reports, Romney has raised $4.6 million just from Floridians.
No other Republican Presidential candidate has topped $800,000 in the state.
Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who dropped out of the race in January, is second with about $787,000. He is followed by Ron Paul, who has raised $767,000 from people from Florida.
Newt Gingrich has raised about $740,000 from Florida, while Rick Santorum has raised just $125,000 in the state.
